Publish a role, and vetted recruiters compete to fill it. Chosen approves the candidates being submitted; you review the qualified ones and pay on the hire. This page is the company side of that loop — recruiters have their own guide.
The role page is the whole workflow
Open Marketplace in the sidebar and click into a role. Everything about that role lives on its dashboard: the interview pipeline, the recruiters working it, messaging, and the role's terms.
The pipeline starts at Pending approval
The role's board leads with a Pending approval column — candidates recruiters have submitted that you haven't decided on yet. Click a card and you get the packet: the recruiter's pitch, their own take in their words (that part is never AI-drafted), the match report with evidence against your requirements, and the resume. Accept and decline live there — approval is a decision you make on the evidence, not a column you drag someone out of.
Accept a candidate and they land in Screening on the board, tagged with the recruiter who brought them. Decline sends the packet back to the recruiter with your note.
The board starts at Screening
A marketplace role's board runs Pending approval → Screening → your interview stages → Offer → Hired. Lead and Applied only show up if someone is actually in them — a marketplace candidate arrives as an accepted submittal and starts at Screening. Empty stages fold into a narrow strip and open again the moment someone lands in them. The same candidates also appear in the Candidates tab, where the full pipeline still applies.
The stages between approval and offer are the role's own. Edit stages on the board renames, adds, removes, and reorders them — a role with a take-home and a role with three onsites don't have to pretend they share a process.
The intake call
Recruiters work a role from the intake conversation — the call where your team describes what you actually need. Chosen usually records it, and you can upload your own recording instead from the role dashboard.
Your recording is yours immediately: Watch intake call works the moment the upload lands, while it says Processing and while Chosen reviews it. Recruiters see nothing until Chosen publishes the recording — the review note on the card tells you which side of that line it's on. Transcript and summary follow a few minutes behind the video.
What Chosen already did before you saw the packet
When Chosen releases a packet to you, everyone on your team who can review submittals gets one email with the candidate, the role, and a link straight to the packet. That's the only email: no reminders, no nudges — the review clock and its consequences stay on the board. Turn it off under Notifications in the app, or use the unsubscribe link in the email.
Every submittal passed Chosen's review before reaching your Pending approval column. Duplicate checks against your ATS ran when the recruiter added the candidate, and again when Chosen released the packet. The candidate approved being represented to your company specifically. What's left for you is the actual judgment call.
One part of the packet can change after it reaches you: the recruiter's take. When it does, the packet marks it Updated after sending with the date, and a line lands in your thread with that recruiter. Nothing is emailed.
